HORSEBACK TOUR

This is no ordinary Horseback Riding Tour along made up paths or beach trails: in our natural reserve, professional guides lead you through real Mayan jungle terrain. Experienced riders or first time cowboys will find themselves riding in a unique area where the natural history of the area combines the local culture with ancient Mayan traditions. Then a cool swim in our natural cenote caves and then back in the saddle for another incredible ride, followed by a traditional light lunch. You will truly take with you a real and unique experience of the land and the warmth of the people that have inhabited this beautiful jungle for more than 2000 years.

The folklore of the Mayan jungle will fill you with its splendid mystery and cast its magical spell over you and your friends and family.

  • 3 hours of activity in the jungle
  • Horseback riding on jungle paths, to and from cenote cave
  • Professionally trained and certified guides, English and Spanish, French tours may be requested for groups.
  • Swimming in fresh, natural underground cenote caves, included lifejackets and diving mask, (Our natural and unaltered cenote has an incredible deep cavern of 20 – 30 meters and natural rock platforms that create shallow areas for the not so extreme adventures. Lifejackets to be worn at all times!)
  • Traditional Mayan Cuisine, light lunch

  • Towels
  • Bug spray and sunscreen, please bring bio products that don’t harm our cenote.

  • Recommended running shoes and comfortable jeans or longer shorts for the horseback, especially for girls, however lots of people ride in swimsuits, shorts and wear sandals, it’s just not as comfortable.
  • Don’t forget swimsuits and towels
  • Bring your cameras, but with horseback riding it is better to bring a not so expensive camara that you couldn’t live without if it got banged and the zoom stopped working. (personal experience!)
  • We hardly ever have mosquitos in the jungle, we are far away from the mangroves.

“This was by far my favorite part of our Cancun vacation.”
the cenote we swam in and explored was cool and relaxing and an unforgettable experience. Jesus explained to us the origins of the cenotes and the mystique surrounding them, and this was very interesting.

“Amazing, authentic experience in the jungle!!”
My wife and I spent the day with Jesus and Gabriel at Boca del Puma at the zipline adventure and swimming in the cenote. The transportation to and from our hotel was organized and communicated clearly.

We provide transport to and from your hotel. Please send us your room number and hotel phone number just in case. Some of the hotels don’t let our van through their security gate at the entrance if we don’t have a correct name and room number. Also, if we need to contact you the night before your tour it really helps to have this information. Try to be in the front lobby of your hotel at least 5 minutes before your pick up time. We can only wait for you for a little while if you don’t show up, especially if we have other reservations waiting for transport nearby. We try to be extremely punctual and always call the front desk of your hotel if for some reason we are running behind. We always do everything possible to find you and make sure you get to the park.
